Stone Island’s sub-label Shadow Project returns with a new batch of gear for Fall/Winter 2015; however, for this upcoming season, the Italian brand decided to take a less avant garde approach to its technical designs. And we’re definitely not mad.
Though there’s still a solid mix of style influences—ranging from sport to military to street—this collection is noticeably much calmer than previous ones. Outerwear pieces like bombers, down vests, car coats, and field jackets are given a minimalist update, as most are presented in solid colors balanced out by a few sublet prints. It’s one of the more mature and sophisticated ranges we’ve seen from Shadow Project, and it just might mark a new direction for the brand.
