Fetty Wap, who apparently has the fastest response time of anyone in the music industry, quickly squashed multiple reports claiming he was jumped during an appearance at a gentlemen's club in Washington, D.C. The bulk of the accusations stem from the following:

Rapper Fetty Wap was jumped inside of Stadium Nightclub in DC. They snatched his chain & his weave, while 'Trap Queen' was playing.

The video obtained by MediaTakeOut purports to show the assault in progress, which supposedly took place during Fetty Wap's appearance at Stadium Club, though a few loops of the footage reveal nothing of the sort. Predictably, Twitter quickly devolved into a Fetty Wap speculation factory:

I saw fetty wap got jumped & robbed in my city smh i keep telling rappers d.c. aint star struck..they hungry with no table manners!

Fetty Wap wasted no time issuing a response, keeping it brief and confident on Instagram by telling MediaTakeOut to, in a sense, apologize:

PROTECT FETTY AT ALL COSTS.
