People are waiting for Don C's next collaboration with Jordan Brand, which most speculate will be an Air Jordan II, but word is coming out that he's in the works with another sneaker brand. It was shared on social media that the designer and good friend of Kanye West is expected to have a project in the works with ASICS for 2016.
ASICS has become known for its niche collaborations, often working with international boutiques or the likes of Ronnie Fieg and Concepts. But Chris Brown recently claimed that he has an upcoming sneaker coming out with the brand, so it's not surprising if Don C hops on the ASICS wave as well.
A quilted pair of Gel-Lyte Vs isn't what's going to please runner enthusiasts, but it will be interesting to see with what he comes up with and watch the brand's ASICS Tiger division crossover into the mainstream.
