The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness released on Friday and it is on course to have a big first week in sales, according to HitsDailyDouble.
The Weeknd is set to perform at this year’s MTV Music Awards alongside Tori Kelly, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, Pharrell, Twenty One Pilots with A$AP Rocky and Nicki Minaj. His performance could help boast his sales numbers, but for now, he’s projected to move between 325,000-350,000 copies. Behind The Weeknd is Halsey’s Badlands, which is set to sell less than Beauty Behind the Madness with numbers somewhere between 85,000-90,000.
