Jon Snow Looks Very Much Alive in New 'Game of Thrones' Set Photos

His armor and man bun are intact.

First Kit Harrington was spotted hanging around Belfast, the filming location for Season 6 of Game of Thrones. Then, in an interview with Belgian magazine Humo, he let slip that he'll likely be "in his mid 30s" by the time his stint on Thrones is over. (Harrington is 28 at present.) Now, it looks like the hopes and dreams of all Jon Snow diehards have come true: The Daily Mail has published photos—actual, real-life photographic evidence—of Harrington on set filing Season 6.

Or one photo, to be precise. The shot shows Harrington, his back to the camera (but it's definitely him—just look at that man bun and that hint of five o'clock shadow), in full costume with a sword strapped to his hip. He's ditched the Night's Watch uniform for a heavy brown leather jerkin over a navy blue tunic. He appears to be deep in conversation with the crew during a break filming a scene. The shot's location, a remote snow-spotted hilltop, has that special desolate Game of Thrones feel.

Of course, it's possible that Harrington is only on set to film flashbacks or to haunt other characters who are still alive. The last book in the series, A Dance with Dragons, ends with Snow's vision fading to black, so even George R. R. Martin is no help here. Fans will have to wait until the show airs to know Snow's fate once and for all.
